Tanja Blatnik becomes General Director of Euroins Romania

Bucharest, March 10, 2021– Euroins Insurance Group is pleased to announce Tanja Blatnik as the new General Manager for Romania. Euroins Insurance Group’s proposal was accepted by the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority.

Tanja Blatnik has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, managing and leading important operational teams and innovative projects in Central Europe. Before joining Euroins Romania, Tanja Blatnik held the position of Executive Director for Generali Insurance Slovenia operations, and previously held the same position in Adriatic Slovenica, the second largest insurance company in Slovenia, with revenues of 300 million euros .

“I am extremely excited about this new position at Euroins Romania and I look forward to the future challenges. I will use all the experience gained in the last years to work with the whole team to focus on improving our services in an environment that is increasingly based on digital components. Euroins Romania is in a process of repositioning itself on the insurance market, with a strategy focused on three main pillars: added value, diversification and digitization. The relationship with customers and partners, satisfaction and trust are the key to this process and vital elements for the long-term success of the company. In order to achieve these results, the changes will start at the level of the company’s leadership and management”, said Tanja Blatnik, the new General Director of Euroins Romania.

Euroins Romania recognizes and emphasizes the importance of the relationship with customers, the degree of satisfaction and trust, all of which are vital elements for the long-term success of the company. In 2020, the Euroins Board of Directors took various actions to increase customer satisfaction, and the positive results are already visible: in the last quarter of 2020, the company recorded 30% fewer complaints compared to the beginning of the year, which represents a 50% decrease in complaints filed by individuals. Also, Euroins Romania introduced new non-RCA products to the market, with a focus on roadside assistance and related services in the health field.

All these changes are intended to bring added value to customers, shareholders, as well as the insurance market in Romania. In accordance with the strategy of reducing exposure in the RCA sector, as well as diversifying the portfolio, in order to achieve healthy and sustainable growth on the Romanian insurance market, at the end of 2020, Euroins Romania increased its capital by over 126 million lei.
